The Knoxville City Council will meet in regular session today. The council will hold a public hearing regarding maximum property tax dollars for fiscal year 2020/2021, and consider a resolution on the item following the hearing. They will consider setting a public hearing date of Monday, February 17th to consider approval of the fiscal year 2020/2021 City Budget as well as hold a discussion regarding street services. The council will consider a resolution for accepting bids, awarding contract and approving the certificate of insurance for the Competine Creek Trail Phase Two, review the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Year in Review, the 2019 SRO Report as well as hold a discussion and take possible action regarding East Elementary. The meeting will begin at 6:15 p.m. and will be held inside the Municipal Building Council Chambers.
