Central sophomore Brock Lewis has been named the American Rivers Conference Field Events Performer of the Week. He earned the honor after entering the Top-25 nationally in the long jump. His leap of 23 feet, 0.75 inches at the Bearcat Open at Northwest Missouri State last weekend put him at No. 22 in the nation in Division III and second in the conference. It’s Lewis’ first time being honored as an indoor athlete.

Lewis and the Dutch are back in action Saturday in the Darren Young Classic at Grinnell.
