The Storm men’s basketball squad picked up a win over Wartburg to keep their conference tournament hopes alive, while the Storm women couldn’t keep up with the Knights and fell 102-62. Conor Riordan and Kyle Wagner each dropped 31 on the Knights, as the Storm built a small 43-40 lead at the halftime break, but contained Wartburg down the stretch to pick up the win. The Storm women were close with the Knights and only trailed by seven at the half 42-35, but were outscored 43-13 in the third quarter to put the game away. Cameron Kincaid scored 16 to lead the team. The Storm men are now 10-12 and 4-9 in American Rivers Conference play, and currently hold the final spot in the conference tournament, but will have to go through Nebraska Wesleyan and Buena Vista in their final two contests. The Storm women drop to 16-7 and 8-6. Both teams will next play Wednesday hosting the Prairie Wolves.
