The Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad will take on Carlisle on Monday night. The Panthers are sitting on a five game losing streak and have not played since a loss to Martensdale-St Mary’s last Tuesday. The Panthers know Carlisle is a difficult challenge regardless of the Wildcat’s record. Coach Jeff Larson tells KRLS Sports he has been more focused on how to get his team better than to figure out what the opponent brings.

Larson:
“We’ve been doing some physical things and getting after it in practice and last Wednesday things got a little chippy in practice, but we need to be a little chippy in practice and do the physical things. We’re looking forward to the next couple of weeks in our season and what it brings.”

Tip off of Monday’s game against Carlisle is scheduled for 7:30pm at Carlisle High School.
