Logan Shetterly celebrates 1,000 career points with his teammates and coaches.

The Pella boys basketball team had no trouble as they rolled by Mt. Pleasant to end the 2020 regular season in a 94-53 home win Tuesday night.

Domination was the name of the game in all phases for the Dutch in their highest scoring game since they dropped 91 on Ballard on December 10th and their 2nd most in a single game this season.

Treyton Sturgeon led the way for the green and white on the scoreboard, with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while John Oltman hit 5 of 6 from three to score 17, Mr. 1,000 Logan Shetterly (pictured above) tacked on 15 points and five assists, and Karl Miller was three of four from deep to score 11 total.

Pella finishes the regular season at 16-5 overall, and turns its high octane offense into the postseason, where it begins Class 3A Substate 6 action against Centerville Monday at Pella High School. Hear every Pella boys basketball postseason game live on 92.1 KRLS.
