After being cancelled in January due to weather, Indianola Parks and Recreation and the Indianola YMCA are jointly hosting the Family Fun Night celebration tomorrow, inviting children and parents to come and enjoy the facilities together. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News last year the event was known as the Mother-N-Son Night-O-Fun, but some feedback after the event made it clear that it should be open to all families, whether it is parents, grandparents, or family friend joining kids at the event. Adults and children ages 5-12 who have pre-registered are invited to make memories together with activities like dodgeball, nerf wars, an inflatable obstacle course, a selfie station, giant trike races, and pool activities.
