Voters in Knoxville and Pleasantville will hit the polls tomorrow to cast their votes during two special school elections. Residents in the Knoxville School District will be voting on a General Obligation Bond Referendum that would fund the first phase of the district’s facilities improvement plan. In Pleasantville, the Pleasantville School District is asking residents for approval for the district to use money from the on Secure and Advanced Vision for Education fund as well as from the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy. Both Knoxville and Pleasantville, area voters are reminded to vote at their general polling location which is the same location they voted at during the November elections and to make sure they have their Iowa issued identification. Additionally any resident who has an absentee ballot has until today to have it mailed to count in the election. If a resident is unable to mail their ballot by today, they can drop it off at the Marion County Auditor’s Office tomorrow.
