The City of Indianola and Indianola City Council are hosting meetings in the four wards of the city to provide residents a more detailed look at the plans of the city and to make city staff and council members available to answer questions. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News the city aims to be as transparent as possible and these meetings are just an extension of that.
“The city really tries to put an emphasis on communicating and engaging with our residents. We want to make sure the services we are providing are lining up with what their desires are, and we view this as an extension of our comprehensive master plan and the survey that went along with that, it gave us a lot of data to help us put together our budget and plan capital projects.”
The meetings will be held at four different locations throughout each ward.
Ward 1 – April 2nd – Indianola YMCA
Ward 2 – April 14th – The Village
Ward 3 – April 7th – Indianola Activity Center
Ward 4 – April 9th – High School Media Center
All meetings are scheduled to take place from 5:30 to 7pm, with all residents invited to each meeting.
