Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has chosen local representatives to serve on state boards and commissions. Governor Reynolds selected Erik Askelsen of Indianola to join the District 5A Judicial Nominating Commission. Other local residents serving on boards appointed last year included Marion County Sheriff Jason Sandholdt who was appointed to the Iowa’s Children’s Behavioral Health System Board. Warren County Supervisor Doug Shull was appointed to the College Student Aid Commission, and Lieutenant Aaron Fuller with the Knoxville Police Department was appointed to the Dependent Adult Protective Advisory Council.
