
Two Knoxville Girls Basketball Players received state recognition for their efforts on the court this season. Katie Keitges was named to the Iowa Girls Coaches Association First Team All-State while Maggie Wilkins was named to the third team. Keitges led the Panthers with a 23.2 points per game average and also led the Panthers with 120 assists, and became the school’s all-time leading scorer in the five-on-five era. Wilkins was right behind Keitges in scoring at 23 points per game. She also led the team in free throw percentage at over 77%. Wilkins also joined Keitges as a member of the 1,000 career points club. Keitges will graduate this spring and continue her basketball career at the University of Omaha while Wilkins will return to the Panthers for her senior season next year.
