A Knoxville man was arrested Monday after a search of his home uncovered over 50 grams of marijuana. According to court documents, just after 9 p.m. detectives with Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement served a search warrant at a home in the 400 block of East Douglas Street in Knoxville. During the search officers located and detained 58-year-old Anthony Smith of Knoxville. Inside the residence officers located multiple bags of a green leafy substance that field tested positive for marijuana along with a digital scale and packing material. In total 57 grams of marijuana was located in the home. Smith was arrested and charged with a controlled substance violation, a class D felony as well as failure to affix a drug tax stamp, a class D felony.
