The Indianola boys basketball team was one of the top scoring teams in class 4A this past season, with a lot of credit going towards their three point shooting. The Indians shot 37.9% as a squad, with seniors Tyce Johnson (41.5%), AJ Toigo (41.4%), and Luke Youmans (41.7%) all shooting well from long range. The Indians will have to find a way to replace some of the volume of shots, but bring back a lot of talent to do so. Caden Rehmeier was the Indians top shooter from three-point range last season shooting 44%, while Drew Kingery also shot well in his freshman campaign at 36.3%. The Indians will also rely on improved shots from John McGinnis and CJ Kuehl, as well as Cooper Nailor for next season.
