Rebounding was one thing that the Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad can point to this season as something the Sabers could build on for next season. Devin Arkema finished sixth in the Bluegrass Conference with 158 on the season. Coach Blake McWilliams tells KRLS Sports Arkema was not the tallest at five/ten, but he did everything else a play is supposed to do to get a rebound.

McWilliams:
“His effort is really good because as far as rebounding that’s what you need. He hadn’t played basketball for a couple of years and you could tell those first few games he was getting his legs underneath him and figuring out what he needed to do.”

The Sabers finished with a 4-18 record this past season.
