As Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada prepares to retire from the department this May, the city of Knoxville has begun the search for their next police chief. The application period is currently open for anyone interested in applying for the position. Anyone interested in applying must have a valid driver’s license and meet the licensing standards established by the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy within one year. The successful candidate must pass a physical examination, psychological examination, and drug screening. All applications must be turned in by Friday, April 17th. For more information click here:
