Something that Knoxville Boys Basketball Coach Jeff Larson wants his team to get better at before the next season starts is, three point shooting. The Panthers shot 28% from long range this season. On nights where they were not shooting well, the opponents knew that and made it tough for Knoxville to get inside the lane. Larson says to improve shooting and get more players that can hit long range shots.

Larson:
“We had three kids shoot over 100 3s and the top one was 35% then after that we didn’t have much, so we have to get kids in the gym to get shots up. We’re going to have kids waiting for us on the inside of the lane if we can’t get better at shooting the three.”

The Panthers finished 12-10 on the season and finished second in the South Central Conference.
