The lethal Knoxville Girls basketball duo of Katie Keitges and Maggie Wilkins was named the Iowa Print Sports Writers all-state teams. Keitges was named to the second team in class 4A and Wilkins was named to the third team. Both combined to average 46.2 points per game this season for the Panthers, combined for 100 three point makes, and helped the Panthers to a 20-3 season. The duo was most effective running the break as one would pass down to the other for an easy basket. Wilkins also joined the 1,000 point club this season, she currently has 1,069 points for her career. Earlier in the season Keitges became the all-time leader girls scorer in the five-on-five era. Wilkins will return for her senior season while Keitges will continue her basketball career at the University of Omaha.
