A new sign has been installed at the Pella High School outdoor stadium, highlighting the greatest athletes the powerhouse Pella track and field and cross country programs have had come through over the years.

The new posting is at the main entrance to the track and football field, and highlights the top ten fastest 5K times at state for both the boys and girls cross country teams, and the record best for each track and field event, including races, jumps, and throws.

The board was created in memory of Don Roorda, with several contributions made to create the sign, facilitated by the Pella Athletic Boosters.
