The PCM Boys Track and Field team, like every other spring sports team in the state, is sitting at home anxiously awaiting the start of the season. If the season does resume, the Mustangs ideally would have their first home meet in over a year. PCM was unable to host track meets last season due to the construction project at the football field and track. Head Coach Collin Harrison says that while no regular season meets in particular stand out to him, it would be nice to have one at home again.

“These meets getting cancelled, it stinks for the guys. Ideally, it would be nice to have a home meet. Last year we didn’t get any home meets because we were redoing the football field and track. Our guys haven’t been able to run on our home track for a while. I don’t know if that’ll happen this year or anything like that, because I know they were scheduled at the beginning of April, one of them at least, so that would be one of them that we miss. But I think we don’t really have any meets that stand out to us, other than conference maybe, and then district and state.”

The home co-ed meet on April 7th has been wiped from the schedule. The home boys meet on April 30th is still on.
