Last week, the Melcher-Dallas Saints got their 2020 football schedule. The Saints have two eight-man rookies on the ledger with Griswold in week one and Martensdale-St. Mary’s in week five. The Saints also have two winless teams from 2019 as Griswold and Seymour/Moulton-Udell went a combined 0-19. Two playoff teams from last season also dot the Saints’ schedule as Southeast Warren and Lamoni meet the Saints in weeks seven and eight. Melcher-Dallas also plays a team that did not field a team in 2019, as Grand View Christian went 3-6 in 2018, but did not play in 2019.
