The Pella Community School District has now shifted free meal distribution to once a week.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says any families living in the Pella Community School District borders – regardless of district affiliation, with children 18 or younger can receive a week’s worth of meals per student every Wednesday from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Pella High School, Jefferson Intermediate School, and Lincoln Elementary, with extended hours from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Jefferson.

Ebeling says sign-ups are encouraged, but are not required. All resources for the Pella Community School District during the COVID-19 closures can be found at coronavirus.pellaschools.org.
