Offseason preparation is going on for the Twin Cedars Football Squad. While the team will not be able to meet until August for official practices, the Coaching staff is busy working on what they need to improve on. The Sabers finished 1-9 last season with a largely young squad that dealt with injuries in key positions. Coach Cam Parker tells KRLS Sports he has been working on improving the offense and defense and his play calling for the 2020 season.

Parker:
“There’s excitement in our program. I’ve been meeting with our assistant coaches and changing some things offensively and defensively. Offensively just get some excitement into the program, and provide a few new wrinkles and get the kids excited that much more.”

The Sabers will start out with a week one contest at Moravia on August 28th.
