With several Indianola alums and Simpson baseball players now at home with the season being canceled, it provides a unique opportunity for the team to stay close despite not being able to compete in practice or at games. Simpson infielder Grady Haynes tells KNIA Sports the team is sticking together during these tough times, and hopefully will get to play baseball soon.
“We are all pretty close and connected on social media, and we try to connect with each other every day. We’ll try and get together once the weather gets nicer and we are allowed to go outside to throw and get some live at-bats in with each other.”
