The Pella City Council approved the first reading of a rezoning ordinance, which if adopted, would accommodate the development of several duplexes and townhouses. Pella Mayor Don DeWaard says a planned unit development is being considered for Kading Properties for the proposed View Pointe Condominiums project on the south side of the West 16th Street dead-end. The proposal includes 92 residential units, with several duplexes and townhouses planned for mainly rentals.
