One thing that Twin Cedars hopes to be better at this summer should the baseball season get going is fielding. The Sabers committed 79 errors last season and had an .888 fielding percentage as a team. Coach Mark Schroeder tells KRLS Sports is all about confidence and making the routine play.

Schroder:
“Fielding the ball first before you throw it, the timely hits with two outs, and staying aggressive on the bases. Just those things that come with experience and get acclimated and get more confident in themselves. That’s the big thing is being more confident to be able to accomplish whatever task they’re going to do.”

Twin Cedars is scheduled to open the season on June second at home against Moravia.
