According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, as of Thursday the state has confirmed 3,924 positive cases of COVID-19 which has resulted in 96 deaths. In Marion County 5 total cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the county of which one is currently still active, and in the other four cases the people infected have recovered. No one in Marion County has died of COVID-19. The next Marion County press conference to update the residents on the current COVID-19 situation is scheduled for 1 p.m. and will be aired live on 95.3 KNIA and 92.1 KRLS and reaired at 6 p.m.
