The Indianola Community School District will continue to provide meals for all students at the current four locations, Emerson, Whittier, and Laura Ingalls Wilder elementary schools as well as Weinman Insurance, through the month of June. Superintendent Art Sathoff tells KNIA News the district has been providing approximately 300 lunches per day, however at the end of June the district will go back to it’s normal summer lunch program with meals eaten on-site at two locations rather than the grab-and-go option. The normal summer meals program will be located at Wilder and Emerson elementary schools.
