Another member of this year’s Tulip Time Royal Court is missing the stage as she wraps up her time at Pella Christian High School. Jocelyn Gritters is one of five high school seniors missing out on the traditional Royal Court experience, especially the chances to perform a program to promote the community across the state. Gritters was recognized for her efforts on stage, earning Outstanding Actor in a Principal Role from the Iowa High School Musical Theatre Awards for her portrayal of Katherine in Pella Christian’s presentation of Disney’s Newsies this past fall. Gritters plans to attend Trinity Christian College to study nursing.
