The City of Indianola now has eight confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus inside city limits, with another case within the Indianola Fire District. Several weeks ago, an Indianola Safety Officer tested positive for the virus, and has not yet been cleared to return to work. According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, Warren County has 39 cases, while Marion County has 13 cases, with neither county having any deaths from the virus. .
