A group of local men aiming to help local food pantries during these trying times announced their fundraising total from a recent event. The Red Rock Chapter of 100+ Men on a Mission raised $11,700, which will be split between the Pella Community Food Shelf, Helping Hands in Knoxville, and the PCM Food Pantry in Monroe. Joel Bennett with 100+ Men on a Mission says the organization aims to have 100 or more men come together and make $100 donations each quarter to benefit local causes and non-profit organizations in the Red Rock area. Their next quarterly meeting will be held in August.
