Marion County Supervisor Mark Raymie and Marion County Public Health Director Kim Dorn held a COVID-19 press conference Tuesday updating the residents on the current COVID-19 threat in the county. Raymie and Dorn suggested residents continue to practice social distancing and follow the guidelines recommended by the CDC as experts fear a fall resurgence of the disease. Dorn says the county is continuing to accept homemade masks and gowns as they might need more if there is indeed a fall resurgence. Dorn says currently the county has an adequate amount of PPE but will continue to accept extra as the county prepares for the fall.

Raymie and Dorn were joined by Pleasantville Schools Superintendent Tony Aylsworth and Bruce Rietveld with Riverside Community Church in Knoxville who gave updates on their organizations.
