It was going to be a great season for the Knoxville Girls Golf Squad this season. One that could be termed a breakout season. But the cancellation of the season along with the school year left team members without a season and a routine they never expected. Junior Amy Sullivan was expecting great things this year as well as she was coming off a state meet appearance last year. Sullivan tells KRLS Sports while she misses being in competition, she can still play a few rounds as the courses have remained open.
Sullivan:
“I miss school and miss seeing all my friends and teachers, but I do miss golf the most right now. Just because I was really excited for the season. I’m really thankful the golf course is still open and I can go out there with my family and play the sport I love.”
