This spring, the Twin Cedars Girls Track and Field Squad was hoping for better things than they have in the past. That is because many of the younger runners and throwers were going to be the ones they would rely on to score a lot of the points. Ali Mockenhaupt tells KRLS Sports her and her teammates were expecting to change the fortunes of not only track and field but other sports as well.

Mockenhaupt:
“I think everybody was really excited to compete and have something we were good at and get to go up against these school and not worry about losing and can go out and do good.”

Mockenhaupt is looking forward to the softball season one in which Twin Cedars is looking forward to after last year’s 29-9 record. Listen for a full interview with Mockenhaupt on tonight’s Radio Sports Page at 6:00pm on 92.1 KRLS.
