The Indianola Elks Lodge will be providing 500 free meals on the downtown Indianola square tomorrow for those in need. Organizer Dave Lamphear tells KNIA News organizing something to help the community is something the Elks Lodge is well acquainted with.

“What we represent is Elks Care, Elks Share. We have the ability at this time with our members to come out and share. We care about this community here, we work with it. If you noticed we have a sign on our lodge that we have donated over $1 million to different things in the community. This is just another step in what the Elks do.”

Lamphear said the meal will consist of a pulled-pork sandwich, chips, and a cookie, and is available for anyone who wants one. Those interested should park near the Elks Lodge on the downtown Indianola square next Saturday beginning at 6pm, and they will be delivered to your car.
