In lieu of a graduation ceremony for the Knoxville Community School District preschoolers, the preschool team has designed an easy, quick way to capture a memory for parents of preschool graduates. 

During the item pickup times for West Elementary and Stepping Stones Early Learning Center, The district will have a banner displayed for your student to stand by. Parents are encouraged to take a picture to help celebrate preschool graduation. Each student will have the opportunity for two pictures, one with the banner and one with the banner and his or her teacher standing on either side of the banner.

Parents will be responsible for taking the pictures with their own device. The district asks that parents and students stay in their cars until instructed in order to practice social distancing. Teachers and associates will help guide families through the line to ensure all of your student’s items are picked up and to allow parents to get the pictures taken. The picture opportunity is optional. If parents have an older child in the building, they will need to pick up materials and supplies during their designated time.

West Elementary Students:

Thursday, May 21st: 12:30- 2:30

Friday, May 22: 5:00-7:00

Parents will use our normal drive through procedure using the bus drive-through

 

Stepping Stones Students:

Thursday, May 21st: 9:30-11:30 and 5:00-7:00

SS families will use the West Elementary bus drive-through backwards and wait in their vehicle to enter SS parking lot. Signs will be posted for entrance and exit points.
