A state qualifier for the Pella Christian cross country program this past fall, an Eagles spring sports senior was hoping to finish his career with quite the challenge.

Daniel Mora Demestri is a multiple year starter for the soccer program, and due to the cancellation of the spring season, ended his competitive career at the state cross country meet in Fort Dodge this past fall. Daniel Mora Demestri says he was looking to add to his plate, and intended to be a distance runner for the Eagles track and field program, in addition to his duties as a senior captain and leader of the boys soccer team.
