With the green light given to the summer baseball season by the Iowa High School Athletic Union, many area baseball squads are now in hurry up mode to get ready for the season. Coach Pat Ferguson knows it will be far from normal so one of the first things he is thinking of is keeping his guys safe and following all of the guidelines set forth.

Ferguson:
“I’m excited to get out there, but at the same time I want to make sure our kids are safe and we follow everything we’re supposed to follow.”

Ferguson ads getting the field ready will take a little different approach as well, not only getting the physical field in playing shape, but conditioning the dugouts, and other parts of the facility. The Saints are set to begin practice on June first.
