Several rounds of thunderstorms are expected over the next several days, and chances for severe weather are increased today.

The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a slight risk for severe weather late this afternoon into the late evening. Chances are increased for storms producing large hail and strong winds.

Additional rounds of thunderstorms are expected Monday through Wednesday, with 1-2 inches of rain possible by Wednesday evening.

The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team is on the air for any severe thunderstorm or tornado warning for any portion of Marion and Warren Counties.
