The City of Knoxville announced Friday that Knoxville City Hall will reopen to the public on June 1st by appointment only. Despite the reopening, Knoxville City Manager Aaron Adams tells KNIA/KRLS News he would still like to see residents utilize phone and email contacts prior to making an appointment. Adams says almost everything that City Hall does can be done remotely so he will continue to encourage residents to use those avenues first. He says he understands that sometimes it can be helpful for residents to have a face to face meeting and wanted to make that option available but by appointment only.
In addition to Knoxville City Hall, the Knoxville Recreation Center to include cardio and weight room and pool, along with the city dog park, basketball courts, ball fields, and tennis courts and the Knoxville Public Library will also reopen to the public on June 1st. The library will only be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To hear the complete interview with Adams, tune in to today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
