Knoxville’s Norah Pearson was going to be a two sport athlete this spring running track and field and playing soccer. The freshman set the cross country world on fire locally with a school record in her first high school meet in the fall and would end her season with a fifth place finish at the State Meet. Pearson tells KRLS Sports her time management skills were going to be put to the test this spring and she already had a support staff if it were not for the cancellation of spring sports.
Pearson:
“I just try to stay organized. I feel I can tackle stuff because I have a great support system with my family and teammates for track and soccer have been really awesome. I’ve got a lot of encouragement from my soccer teammates who have dual-sported in the past so that’s really nice.”
Pearson was just starting to get a schedule organized for this season. You can hear a feature on Pearson during our Spring Sports Spotlights today on KNIA/KRLS.
