With the summer sports season set to take off where it normally would have been on June 15th, the Indianola squads will keep a fairly normal schedule until possibly very late in the season. Activities Director Lee Nelson tells KNIA News if there is an opportunity to pick up an extra game late in the year, it will probably be a familiar foe.

“Really it depends on your schedule looks like moving forward, if it puts you in a spot that works for you. If not, the first place I will look is a team in our conference, if anyone else is looking for a game. That’s what is going to get us through this next month is people understanding the overall picture is bigger than ourselves, so how can we help others.”

Nelson also said other conference activities directors have all worked closely to make sure the LHC teams will have a competitive schedule.
