vote-2020

Voters in Marion County will cast their ballots tomorrow in the Primary Election to determine which Republican and Democratic candidates will represent each party during the November general election. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic voting locations have been consolidated down to five in person voting locations in Marion County. Voting locations are the Bussey Community Center for the Liberty, Indiana and Clay precincts, the Knoxville School Admin Building for the Knoxville one through four wards and Knoxville Township precincts, the Melcher-Dallas Community Center for the Dallas and Washington precincts, the Pella Legion Hall for Pella wards one through four as well as Lake Prairie and Otley precincts and the Pleasantville Memorial Building for the Pleasantville precinct.

Marion County Auditor Jake Grandia tells KNIA/KRLS News If voters still chose to vote in person the five polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Grandia says in person voters will need to adhere to social distancing guidelines when voting. He says voters will need to follow the new normal processes regarding social distancing and follow every direction given by the poll workers.

According to Grandia if voters wish to vote by mail, ballots need to be mailed and postmarked by today to count in the election. For a list and addresses of precinct voting locations for tomorrow’s primary scroll down.
