The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Monday. The council approved the appointment of Aaron Fuller as the Knoxville Police Chief. 

They approved a resolution authorizing and approving a loan agreement, providing for the sale and issuance of General Obligation Corporate Purpose Bonds, Series 2020A, and providing for the levy of taxes to pay the same. 

The council discussed the vacating and sale of a portion of North Attica Road lying north of East Marion Street to which the council approved the vacating of the road for a potential future sale to the adjoining landowners.

They held two closed sessions to discuss the purchase or sale of particular real estate as well as to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance, or discharge was being considered.
