The Heart of Iowa Conference has finalized its 2020 summer sports schedule, which will be condensed into a four-week period. For the most part, conference games will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with non-conference contests sprinkled in on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The PCM softball team opens the season on June 15th at home against South Hamilton. Later that week are two conference road trips, including Saydel for the first of two doubleheaders this season, and a single game at Roland-Story. Colfax-Mingo will visit the Mustangs in the opening week for the first non-conference game.

PCM plays all five days of the second week of the season. Gilbert, Greene County and West Marshall will visit Monroe, while the Mustangs will head on the road to Lynnville-Sully and Nevada.

Week 3 will see the Mustangs playing all five days as well, beginning with a home game Monday against Roland-Story. A short trip to Knoxville and a lengthy trip to South Hamilton follow the next two days. PCM closes the week with three home games, a single game against Saydel and a doubleheader with North Polk.

After Independence Day, PCM begins the final full week of the regular season with three road trips on consecutive days to Gilbert, Grinnell and Greene County. The conference finale is that Thursday at home against Nevada. The regular season concludes on Monday, July 13th with a non-conference tilt at home with South Tama County.
