The Twin Cedars Baseball Squad is looking to improve from a 14-13 season last summer. The Sabers have a lot of talent coming back with a shortened season due to starting late. Coach Mark Schroeder tells KRLS Sports this team is especially close with each other, and he hopes that translates into a successful season.
Schroeder:
“They’re hanging out with each other and always talking so at the end of the day that’s something that they’ll be able to share and those close friendships that mean the most.”
Schroeder says all of the great teams have that bond that makes them close. He says watching the recent TV docuseries on the Chicago Bulls, “The Last Dance”, shows what a team with close bonds can do for their on field success. The Sabers get the season underway against Murray on June 15th.
