While several Eagles baseball players return with varsity experience, the goal for the 2020 season will be to make the lineup more balanced overall, especially with a good portion of last year’s production off to college now.

From the 2019 roster, 87 of 231 hits, 37 of the team’s 47 stolen bases, and 35 of 61 extra base hits left when Will Dembski, Lawson Bruxvoort, and Cole Webster graduated.

Head Coach Jeff Bruxvoort admits it will be difficult to replicate the type of numbers those players generated with just replacement — it will take an overall lifting of the tide from spots one through nine in the lineup, and several talented athletes should take leaps in their baseball ability this summer to make up some of the loss.
