The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team was on the air from 5:30 to 6:08 a.m. for a severe thunderstorm warning in southwestern Warren County. The storm that prompted the warning stalled to the west of the listening area, and then turned south, dumping heavy rain and hail in Madison and Union Counties. Three staff members contributed to live coverage on the air.
