The Twin Cedars Softball Squad last season was one of the better offensive teams in the Bluegrass Conference. The Sabers were third in batting average at .339, first in RBI at 246, scored 327 runs and had a run differential of 211, both tops in the BGC. Coach Zack Dunkin says that is great, but he wants his team to focus on better at bats and getting the right pitch.

Dunkin:
“Really trying to work on hitting the right pitches, shrinking the zone, not expanding it and I think that’ll be an ongoing thing we work on this season.”

Twin Cedars will open up on Tuesday against Murray at home.
