Widespread amounts between 2-4” of rain were recorded through Marion and Warren Counties with several rounds of precipitation that started with the remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal and continued with another frontal boundary Wednesday morning. Some areas saw up to five inches of rain in 36 hours, according to reports from the National Weather Service and listeners, after 1-2 inches of additional precipitation fell over south central Iowa.
