The Pella City Council will consider several resolutions as they relate to employee pay and benefits at their meeting this evening. Council will review the annual wage scale, health plan premiums, and a reviewed personnel policy manual. Resolutions approving an engineering services contract for the Wonder Spelen contract, as well as setting a public hearing to approve bids for Clark Street Water Main improvements and a new water main stemming from Fifield Road will also be considered. Two special event permits will be reviewed for the Pella 4th of July Celebration and Thursdays in Pella events in July. Following regular business, council will hold an initial planning session for several upcoming significant capital projects during policy and planning, including discussion about the Pella Community Center, downtown infrastructure improvements, and beautification projects throughout the community.
