It will be a tough week for both the Knoxville Softball and Baseball Squads this coming week. Baseball travels to South Central Conference favorite Centerville on Monday, hosts Oskaloosa on Tuesday, travels to Principal Park to take on Ames on Wednesday, with Albia on Thursday and a Saturday game against Des Moines Christian. Coach Turner Devroe tells KRLS Sports his team needs game reps to get that experience that practice will not give them.

“I think right now we need as many game reps as possible. No matter what the score is we’re going to pay hard and compete and play some good teams. I expect us to grow each game and continue to work on the things we need to work on. The whole goal is to be playing the best baseball in the second or third week of July.”
